Ok. Got the “leg” of the leg vise completed, along with a test fitting of the @benchcrafted crisscross hardware. Cutting the mortise for the crisscross hardware was the hardest task, since the mortise is 1 7/16″ deep and almost 20″ in length. But, with a spiral upcut bit and small incremental passes with the router, the resulting mortise is nice and clean. The chop is waiting for the same treatment in the morning.
