Hurray! Back in the shop after a not so brief respite due to a lower a back injury. We’re carrying on with the Shaker workbench project and as you can see, there’s progress to report. The half lap face frame has been glued and screwed to the plywood carcass along with the left end mortise and tenon frame, which will house a door, allowing access to the leg vise hardware. Also completed is the plywood backpanel, which was routed incrementally with a V-Bit to mimic a multi board backpanel. Next – doors and drawers!
